Living in the south, you don't see many apple orchards... at least where we lived. So when we heard about all the orchards close to us now in NY we had to take advantage of it! We found an orchard in Mexico, NY and completely stuffed our faces.... we they boys did. I still have crummy braces :-( It was a wonderful experience and we hope to make this a new tradition in the fall.
We hear the best apples are on the top of the tree.
