Fish Hatchery???

  1. fish hatchery is a "place for artificial breeding, hatching and rearing through the early life stages of animals, finfish and shellfish in particular".
  2. This week we went to the Salmon Run Fish Hatchery and saw how they "make" fish to keep the rivers and ponds populated. It was very cool to see how it is done and it causes no harm to any fish :-)
They start in here and after a few months they are moved to a bigger tank.
They are then moved to bigger tanks and then set free into the rivers and ponds of NY.

His handsomness just kills me :-)

They boys had a great time with their friends. It was a fun day!!
