I promise to be here forever. I promise to never leave you wondering and I promise to always...always leave my door open. When times get rough, I promise to fight for you. To push past my own insecurities and always give you the benefit of the doubt. If I feel you pulling away, I promise to beg you to stay. I promise to honor your special role in our child's life and nurture the hero role you are to us. I promise to love our child to the greatest of my possibilities.... for the both of us. I promise to give my all with every fiber of my being and sacrifice what I need to to make sure he has the life he was intended to have. If I have a concern, I’ll address it. If I have a need, Ill tell you. If I have a prompting, I’ll act upon it. Your value to me is worth it and we are greater than mistaken assumptions. If your sad Ill be your shoulder. When your happy I’ll gladly share your joy. One day I know you will see the version of yourself that I see in you.
